I have lived in Solihull Borough since 1981 and I am a Chartered Surveyor, being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I have my own business, Salway Bradbury, based in Solihull since 1986, that provides industrial and commercial property consultancy.

I was appointed a Governor of the School in 1983, since when I have been past Deputy Chair of the Governing Body, Chair of the Governing Body, and I have also chaired the Site & Buildings Committee.

I currently serve on both the Strategy and Finance & Personnel Committees.

I have in recent years been involved with local politics, and I have been particularly been involved with setting up the Solihull Business Improvement District, that is located around the Town Centre.

I am also a member of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.
