ZAF SHAFI

Hi, my name is Zaf Shafi and I am a father of three. I joined the Governing Body in April 2009 as a Parent Governor, and currently serve as the Vice-chair of the Curriculum Committee. I joined as I wanted to support the school management team by being a critical friend who drives measures to be implemented in monitoring and developing the school performance.
From a career perspective - After graduating I have worked with the NHS and biotechnology organisations in various management roles in Oncology. I am currently responsible for developing the Oncology Service for the Midlands, Sw and North West regions with Bupa.
My interests include playing Sunday League Cricket and I am a passionate follower of Liverpool football club. I also do voluntary work with Solihull Sunday School as well as other charity organisations/events.
